Mission Statement

USF Education Abroad Mission Statement

The mission of the USF Education Abroad Office is to provide to the USF community high quality educational experiences abroad. Our goal is to create programs with a strong comparative element that emphasizes sustained engagement with foreign academics and professionals, community members and fellow students.  We believe that in exposing our students to foreign and international perspectives we:

  • Expand their understanding of the world around them;

  • Provide a comparative context for their US studies resulting in a deeper understanding and appreciation of these subjects;

  • Prepare them for an increasingly international workplace; and

  • Create more thoughtful and understanding citizens of the world.
